Google Maps Lawsuit: Woman Follows

Lauren Rosenberg, a woman from American and she's suing Google for damages. The reason is Google Maps service to provide wrong routes to her. When she walk along a very busy highway with no pedestrian walkway, she followed the directions exactly. Unfortunately, she was hit by a car in the process.


Rosenberg filed suit against both Harwood(a person who hit her) and Google, claiming both carried responsibility in her injury. Her lawyers claim that Google did not warn her that the route would not offer a safe place for a pedestrian to walk. In fact Google Maps website does do that.

However Google said that this is a test version of walking directions. Google add the function of walking directions in 2008 and they have been warn the user that this product is still developing and should not be convinced.
