Watch the ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 Official song: De Ghumake

As you may know, ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 is just around the corner and ready to commence in full action starting from 19th Feb. An official theme song followed by a video is produced for World Cup 2011, same was done earlier for Commonwealth Games.

This Official song named “De Ghumake” is sung and composed by the much popular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The song has been released in 3 different regional languages: Hindi (sung by Shankar Mahadevan), Bangla (sung by Raghab Chatterjee) and Sinhalese (sung by Ranidu Lankage).
CC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said: “Music really helps to create a buzz around an event and I am delighted we have such an energetic and diverse selection of great songs that will surely become the soundtrack of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.”
Rajat Kakar, Managing Director of Universal Music India said: “The ICC Cricket World Cup is going to be the biggest sporting extravaganza in the world this year and ‘De Ghumake’ is the perfect anthem to celebrate this occasion.

The album is packed with hits, both international and Hindi, which set the mood for celebrations." Universal Music will release the physical album and the online version of the title track on all leading portals across the globe. The anthem song is also made available for download in all the 3 languages on hungama.com.
